Wattyl’s i.d Eco System VOC product offer is a complete wall and ceiling paint system. This ultra premium water based interior painting system includes water based acrylic sealer undercoat, ceiling white, matt, low sheen and satin.
Using world class technology, Wattyl has reduced the paint emissions (called volatile organic compounds) in i.d to less than 1g per litre of untinted paint, (which is the lowest on the retail market today). We manufacture Wattyl i.d Eco System products without ammonia and other strong smelling materials, so there’s no traditional paint odours, making painting a much more pleasant job. This means there are less airborne chemicals which are likely to affect asthmatics, young children and the elderly. It’s family friendly, pet friendly and very lifestyle friendly!
Green Paint for Green Buildings
Wattyl i.d has a range of low VOC “green” paints that will help in achieving a “Green Star Rating”. The Green Building Council Australia’s Green Star Rating on “Indoor Environment Quality” (IEQ-11) aims to encourage and recognize projects that reduce the detrimental impact on occupant health from products emitting pollutants. The Green Building Council has awarded Wattyl i.d with 2 points towards the credit where 95% of all painted surfaces are low VOC.

A matt finish with scuff resistance!
Professional designers have always understood that a matt finish cannot only deliver tremendous depth of colour but has an inherent ability to mask surface imperfections. The problem has always been however, that simple scuffing and even washing can easily damage a matt paint finish. Thanks to Wattyl this is a problem of the past!
