Step One

Prepare surface and prime or undercoat as required.

Step Two

  • Cut-in with a brush or applicator pad.
  • Apply paint quickly and evenly along corners and cornices.
  • Maintain a wet edge by laying-off lightly back into the freshly applied areas.

Step Three

Apply paint to the broader area with a roller:

  • For ceilings, roll in sections (manageable strips and work across the ceiling. Always roll towards the main natural light source (e.g. window).
  • For walls, start in a corner and paint in sections (manageable strips) covering the height of the wall.
  • Apply paint quickly and evenly to the section and then lay-off lightly with long even roller strokes (ceilings towards window; walls top to bottom).
