Three Easy Steps to Oiling a Deck

1.  If the timber is oily, has black spots (mould) or has greyed from weathering, clean the deck thoroughly using Wattyl Exterior Timber Cleaner. Some sanding may be required for previously coated timber or timber in poor condition. Leave to dry completely before coating. This may take 1 - 2 days.

2.  Apply one generous coat of Wattyl Deck and Exterior Timber Oil to the entire surface and edges. Spread out any area where the product appears to be pooling. Leave to dry for 24 hours.

3.  Apply a second coat of Wattyl Deck and Exterior Timber Oil.

See the back of the pack for detailed preparation and application instructions

Tip:  Apply the product along the length of the surface, not across it.
